College is affiliated to Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar Solapur University, Solapur and hence follows its rules and guidelines regarding the assessment and evaluation process for the appraisal of students performance. The internal assessment is carried out in a systematic manner for theory courses, laboratory courses, tutorials and projects. At the college level, an examination committee is constituted, comprising of a senior faculty member as chief superintendent, other teaching faculties and non-teaching staff as members for smooth conduction of all examinations. The evaluation process is bifold i.e. internal and external. The internal evaluation process is designed to prepare and guide students for the PAH Solapur University examinations. The external assessment process is as per PAH Solapur University guidelines and schedule. The PAH Solapur University examination scheme consists of mid-semester, end-of-semester and practical exams. The mechanism followed for internal and external assessment is listed below:
Internal Assessment
- Examination notice, University circulars and timetables are displayed on the college notice-board.
- Question papers for internal examinations are set as per guidelines provided by the internal exam committee.
- After every internal test, the faculty members explain the solution in class.
- Answer sheets are evaluated within one week after examination and provided to students in the classroom for verification.
- Necessary action is taken by course faculty on a query raised. Marks are shared with Students and Parents.
- The evaluation process and assessment instructions of assignments, tutorials, projects are shared with students at the beginning of each semester to keep transparency.
MARKS DISTRIBUTION FOR INTERNAL EVALUATIONS:
The external theory examination of all semesters shall be conducted by the PAH Solapur University at the end of each semester. Internal evaluation is to be done by continuous assessment. For all courses without practical’s, total marks of external examination are 40 and total marks of internal evaluation is 10. The marks distribution for external and internal assessments and the components for internal evaluation with their marks are shown below:
For first year and second year courses with practical total marks for external evaluation is 40 and total marks for internal evaluation is 10 while the third year course with practical total marks for external evaluation is 80 and total marks for internal evaluation is 20.

If any internal grievances occur, they will be addressed and resolved by mentors, course faculty, and the head of the department. To address all examination and evaluation-related grievances, College has constituted Internal Examination Grievance Committee. Those students who have queries about their internal evaluation, they may apply to the said committee, necessary actions has been taken by the committee to solve the queries. When the university exam schedule is released students are notified to fill out the exam forms. Any queries or issues identified are resolved by exam coordinator and appointed clerk in communication with the University Examination Cell
